Description

This easy Greek Yogurt Pizza Dough recipe uses just two main ingredients—flour and yogurt—plus baking powder for a quick, no-yeast crust. It’s soft, chewy, and perfect for homemade pizza nights when you want something fast and delicious.


Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)

1 cup plain Greek yogurt (fat-free or full-fat)

2 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for flavor)

½ teaspoon dried Italian herbs (optional, for flavor)

Olive oil, for greasing skillet or pan

Pizza toppings of choice (sauce, cheese, vegetables, meats, etc.)


Instructions

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and any optional seasonings.

Add Yogurt: Stir in the Greek yogurt until the mixture comes together into a shaggy dough.

Knead: Lightly flour your hands and knead the dough on a floured surface for 2–3 minutes until smooth. If sticky, add more flour; if too dry, add a teaspoon of yogurt.

Shape Crust: Grease a 9–10 inch skillet or pan with olive oil. Press the dough evenly into the pan to form your crust.

Par-Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes, or until set and lightly golden.

Add Toppings: Remove crust, spread with pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings.

Final Bake: Return to oven for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.

Notes

For a richer crust, use full-fat Greek yogurt.

Whole wheat flour can replace half the all-purpose flour for a heartier dough.

To freeze, par-bake crust for 5–7 minutes, cool completely, then wrap tightly and freeze. Bake from frozen with toppings.
