Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If using fresh spinach, wash and chop it finely. If using frozen spinach, thaw and squeeze out excess moisture.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined and fold in the chopped spinach.
  4. Shape the dough into round forms with a hole in the middle and place on a lined baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow the flagels to cool on a wire rack before serving.
