Description

A wholesome Moroccan-inspired dish combining tender chicken and aromatic spices wrapped in soft flatbread.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, cubed
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh herbs (cilantro or parsley), chopped
  • 4 Flatbreads
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Cut chicken breast into small cubes.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add onions and garlic, and sauté until soft (3-4 mins).
  3. Add Spices: Mix in cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and paprika; stir for 1 min.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Add cubed chicken to skillet; cook until no longer pink (7-10 mins).
  5. Incorporate Herbs and Lemon: Remove from heat and stir in fresh herbs and lemon juice.
  6. Assemble the Flatbread: Spoon chicken mixture onto half of flatbread, fold to seal.
  7. Toast the Flatbread: Cook stuffed flatbread in skillet until golden brown (2-3 mins each side).
  8. Serve: Slice into wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with side salad or yogurt for extra flavor. Adjust spice levels to preference.
