  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour (or oat flour for gluten-free)
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats (gluten-free if desired)
  • 1 Egg (or flaxseed egg for vegan option)
  • 1/4 cup Honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
  • 1/4 cup Broth or Water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (176°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, egg, honey, and broth or water until smooth.
  4. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until a cohesive dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface and cut into shapes.
  6. Place shaped treats on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
