Description
These Strawberry Brie Bites are sweet, savory, and elegant—all in one bite! With buttery puff pastry, creamy brie, and juicy strawberries, they’re the perfect make-ahead appetizer for holidays, brunches, or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
6 oz brie cheese, cut into small cubes
6–8 medium fresh strawberries, sliced
2–3 tbsp honey, for drizzling
Fresh thyme or basil leaves (optional, for garnish)
Chopped nuts (optional, like pecans or walnuts, for crunch)
Instructions
Preheat oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly flour a surface and roll out puff pastry to smooth creases.
Cut pastry: Slice into 12 even squares. Press each into a greased mini muffin tin, letting corners stick up for a rustic look.
Add brie: Place a cube of brie in the center of each pastry cup.
Top with strawberries: Add a slice or two of strawberry on top of the brie.
Bake: Bake 15–18 minutes, until pastry is puffed and golden.
Finish: Drizzle with honey and garnish with herbs or nuts if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
Make-ahead tip: Assemble up to 4 hours before baking; refrigerate until ready.
Fruit swaps: Use raspberries, blackberries, figs, or pears instead of strawberries.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge up to 2 days; reheat in oven to crisp.
Freezer-friendly: Freeze unbaked bites, then bake straight from frozen (add 2–3 mins).
