Description

A delightful dessert that combines the sweetness of blueberries with the gooey, pull-apart charm of monkey bread, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Frozen blueberries (2 cups)
  • Refrigerated biscuit dough (2 cans)
  • Granulated sugar (1/2 cup)
  • Brown sugar (1/2 cup)
  • Cinnamon (1 tablespoon)
  • Unsalted butter (1/2 cup)
  • Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If using frozen blueberries, thaw them in a microwave-safe bowl and drain excess water.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, add the biscuit pieces and blueberries, and gently toss them together.
  6. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the biscuit and blueberry mixture and toss to coat.
  7. Melt the butter and pour it into a bundt pan, then arrange the biscuit pieces and blueberries in the pan.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

For a healthier alternative, use whole wheat or gluten-free biscuit dough, and consider coconut oil instead of butter.
