Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Cooking spray or butter for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your mini muffin tin.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg, and vanilla extract; whisk until blended.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spoon batter into the muffin tin, filling each well about three-quarters full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack and serve warm.
Notes
For a healthier option, substitute with whole wheat flour and use Greek yogurt instead of milk.
