  • Cream Cheese
  • Shredded Cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • Garlic Powder

  • Optional Herbs (dill, chives, parsley, or basil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. If using fresh spinach, wash, dry, and roughly chop. If using frozen spinach, ensure it’s thawed and drained.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, spinach, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface, about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Spread the filling evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1/2 inch edge on all sides.
  6. Roll the pastry from one long edge to the other to form a log.
  7. Slice the rolled pastry into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
  8. Place the pinwheels on the baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
