Ingredients
- Puff Pastry
- Fresh Spinach
- Cream Cheese
- Shredded Cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- Optional Herbs (dill, chives, parsley, or basil)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- If using fresh spinach, wash, dry, and roughly chop. If using frozen spinach, ensure it’s thawed and drained.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, spinach, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the filling evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1/2 inch edge on all sides.
- Roll the pastry from one long edge to the other to form a log.
- Slice the rolled pastry into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
- Place the pinwheels on the baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
