  • 4 cups frozen crinkle-cut French fries
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 diced onion
  • Sliced pickles
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into small pieces until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the French fries, followed by the beef mixture and half of the cheddar cheese.
  6. Top with the remaining fries, the rest of the cheddar cheese, and pickles if desired.
