Ingredients
- Eggroll wrappers
- Cream cheese
- Fresh strawberries
- Sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Cinnamon
- Cooking oil (for frying)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Blend until smooth. Fold in chopped strawberries.
- Place an eggroll wrapper on a flat surface, spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling onto the center, fold and roll tightly to seal.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan to about 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the eggrolls for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towels.
- Dust cooled eggrolls with powdered sugar and serve warm.
Notes
For a healthier option, consider baking instead of frying. You can also use whole wheat wrappers and low-fat cream cheese.
