Ingredients

  • Eggroll wrappers
  • Cream cheese
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon
  • Cooking oil (for frying)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Blend until smooth. Fold in chopped strawberries.
  2. Place an eggroll wrapper on a flat surface, spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling onto the center, fold and roll tightly to seal.
  3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan to about 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry the eggrolls for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and place on paper towels.
  5. Dust cooled eggrolls with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Notes

For a healthier option, consider baking instead of frying. You can also use whole wheat wrappers and low-fat cream cheese.
