Ingredients

  • Fresh Spinach (2 cups, packed)
  • Cream Cheese (8 oz)
  • Shredded Cheese (1 cup, any blend)
  • Eggs (2 large)
  • All-Purpose Flour (1/2 cup)
  • Garlic Powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Salt and Black Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly and sauté in a pan over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed spinach, cream cheese, shredded cheese, eggs, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×9 inch baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute Greek yogurt for cream cheese or zucchini noodles for flour.
