Description

A unique burger experience featuring a juicy patty topped with crab meat and Swiss cheese, served on toasted buns.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Chopped fresh herbs (parsley or dill)
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 brioche or artisan rolls
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Dill pickles, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and pepper gently; form into four patties.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and fresh herbs; mix gently.
  3. Heat a griddle over medium-high heat and cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, adding Swiss cheese in the last minute.
  4. Toast the buns on the griddle until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the burger with the patty, crab mixture, pickles, and other desired toppings.

Notes

For a healthier option, swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken and use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
