- 1 lb Ground Meat (beef, pork, or turkey)
- 1 Onion, diced
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1–2 Bell Peppers, diced
- 2 Carrots, sliced
- 1 can Tomato Sauce
- 2 cups Beef or Vegetable Broth
- 1 tablespoon Paprika
- 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the diced onions and garlic until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground meat to the pot, breaking it into smaller pieces. Cook until well-browned, about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in the diced bell peppers and carrots. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until they start to soften.
- Pour in the tomato sauce and broth, mixing well.
- Add paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat to low and cover, cooking for 30 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasonings. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
