- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. Mix in melted butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface. Knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough to release air and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and mini marshmallows across the surface of the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly, slice into 1-inch pieces, and place cut-side up in a greased baking dish.
- Cover with a towel and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then drizzle with melted chocolate or powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For a healthier twist, consider whole wheat flour and coconut sugar. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream for a delightful treat.
