  • Author: Lilie Evans

Description

These garlic butter cheeseburger rollups are golden, cheesy, and packed with juicy beef. Brushed with buttery garlic and baked until perfectly crisp, they’re a fun twist on classic cheeseburgers—ideal for weeknight dinners, snacks, or party appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef (lean recommended)

1 small onion, diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded

2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Pickles, chopped (optional, for serving or filling)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Separate crescent roll dough into triangles. Spoon beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, then sprinkle with cheddar cheese.

Roll up the dough, tucking the filling inside, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Mix melted butter with garlic powder. Brush over each rollup and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.

Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.

Cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Add a pickle slice inside each rollup for a true cheeseburger vibe.

Try different cheeses like mozzarella, pepper jack, or provolone.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven or air fryer to keep them crisp.

Freeze unbaked roll-ups on a tray, then store in a freezer bag. Bake from frozen, adding 5–7 minutes to the cook time.
