Description

Delicious and fun twists on the classic jalapeno popper, perfect for gatherings and parties.


Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry
  • Cream Cheese
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Jalapenos
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Parsley Flakes
  • Egg Wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley flakes. Mix well.
  3. Lightly flour a clean countertop and roll out the puff pastry sheet to about 1/8 inch thick.
  4. Using a sharp knife, slice the pastry into strips, approximately 1 inch wide.
  5. Place a small spoonful of the jalapeno cheese mixture at one end of each strip and twist tightly.
  6. Arrange the twisted pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with egg wash.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving, garnished with chopped jalapenos or parsley.

Notes

For a spicier twist, consider using pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar.
