Ingredients
- Puff Pastry
- Cream Cheese
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Jalapenos
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Parsley Flakes
- Egg Wash
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley flakes. Mix well.
- Lightly flour a clean countertop and roll out the puff pastry sheet to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the pastry into strips, approximately 1 inch wide.
- Place a small spoonful of the jalapeno cheese mixture at one end of each strip and twist tightly.
- Arrange the twisted pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving, garnished with chopped jalapenos or parsley.
Notes
For a spicier twist, consider using pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar.
