Description

A delicious and healthy Turkish pizza known as Lahmacun, filled with spiced ground meat and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

  • Flatbread or Pizza Dough
  • Ground Lamb or Beef
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 1 Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • Spices (Cumin, Paprika, Pepper Flakes to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Prepare the dough by rolling it out on a floured surface.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the ground meat, onion, bell pepper, parsley, tomato paste, and spices, then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the filling evenly over the dough, leaving a border.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
