Ingredients

¾ cup granulated sugar

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

2 large eggs

1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

½ cup vegetable oil

1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking dish.

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  • Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.

  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

 

  • Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
