- 1 cup M&M’s
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter completely, stirring occasionally.
- Once the butter is melted, remove it from heat and stir in both the granulated and brown sugars.
- Mix in the cocoa powder until well combined, then crack in the eggs, mixing each until fully incorporated.
- Add the vanilla extract, stirring gently to integrate it into the batter.
- Gently fold in the all-purpose flour, ensuring not to overmix.
- Finally, fold in the M&M’s, setting aside a handful for topping.
- Transfer the brownie batter into your prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the reserved M&M’s on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
