  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup M&M’s

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter completely, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once the butter is melted, remove it from heat and stir in both the granulated and brown sugars.
  4. Mix in the cocoa powder until well combined, then crack in the eggs, mixing each until fully incorporated.
  5. Add the vanilla extract, stirring gently to integrate it into the batter.
  6. Gently fold in the all-purpose flour, ensuring not to overmix.
  7. Finally, fold in the M&M’s, setting aside a handful for topping.
  8. Transfer the brownie batter into your prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the reserved M&M’s on top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
