Delicious and smoky Middle Eastern tofu kebabs that offer a plant-based alternative for kebab lovers.
Ingredients

- 1 block firm tofu
- 1 red onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
- Press the tofu by draining excess moisture, wrapping it in a towel, and placing a heavy object on top for 15-20 minutes.
- Prepare the marinade by whisking together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Cut the red onion and bell peppers into large chunks.
- Cube the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let them soak for at least 10 minutes.
- Assemble the kebabs by threading marinated tofu and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating as desired.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the kebabs for about 15 minutes until the tofu is golden and charred, turning occasionally.
- Remove from the grill, let rest for a couple of minutes, and serve hot.
Notes
Serve with tahini sauce, pita bread, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
