- 1/2 cup sugar (for caramel)
- 1/4 cup water (for caramel)
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the caramel by combining sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until dissolved, then boil until golden brown.
- Grease mini flan molds with non-stick spray or butter.
- Carefully pour the caramel into the prepared molds.
- Blend sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, semi-sweet chocolate, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the caramel in each mold.
- Bake molds in a water bath at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes.
- Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Garnish with fresh fruits or whipped cream for added flavor.
