Delicious and nutritious pancakes made from protein-rich moong dal, perfect for any meal of the day.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Moong Dal
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Green Chilies, finely chopped
- Handful of Fresh Coriander, chopped
- 1 small piece of Ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup Water
- Oil or Ghee for cooking
Instructions
- Soak the Moong Dal in water for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Drain and blend the dal with ginger, green chilies, onion, coriander, turmeric powder, and salt, adding water for desired consistency.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and coat with oil or ghee.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan, spreading it into a circle. Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown.
- Repeat with remaining batter and serve hot with yogurt or chutney.
Notes
Soaking the dal is important for smooth blending. Adjust spices as per your taste preference.
