- 1 loaf of crusty bread (ciabatta or sourdough)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3–4 cloves of garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully integrated.
- Slice the artisan loaf in half lengthwise or into smaller pieces.
- Generously spread the garlic butter mixture across the cut surfaces of the bread.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the garlic butter.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the bread on a baking sheet, cut side up, and bake for about 15 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- Once out of the oven, garnish with additional fresh parsley if desired. Cut into pieces and serve warm.
Notes
To enhance flavor, avoid overbaking, and use softened butter for easier spreading. Adjust seasoning to taste.
