- 1 cup raspberry puree
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; whisk well.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, vanilla extract, and raspberry puree until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into dry ingredients; stir until just combined.
- Grease a heart-shaped doughnut pan.
- Spoon batter into the pan, filling cavities about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Mix powdered sugar and raspberry puree for glaze until smooth.
- Dip the tops of doughnuts in the glaze and let set.
- Serve and enjoy fresh.
