Description

A rich and flavorful sardine dip that’s perfect for snacking or appetizers, packed with omega-3s and nutrients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can canned sardines in olive oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese (or Greek yogurt)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (dill or parsley), chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients. Drain the sardines and remove any skin or bones for a smoother texture.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese with lemon juice and Dijon mustard. Whip until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the sardines, leaving some pieces chunky for texture.
  4. Add minced garlic and fresh herbs, stirring until well combined.
  5. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.

Notes

Serve with pita chips, veggie sticks, or on toasted bread. For a lighter version, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt.
