- 1 head green cabbage
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the cabbage into 1-inch thick steaks.
- Drizzle olive oil over the cabbage steaks and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Place the cabbage steaks on a lined baking sheet, avoiding crowding.
- Roast for 15 minutes, then flip and roast an additional 15 minutes until golden.
- If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top in the last 5 minutes of roasting.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute nutritional yeast for Parmesan cheese. You can also opt for cauliflower steaks for a gluten-free alternative.
