Ingredients
Cranberry juice (unsweetened) — 1/2 cup (120 ml)
Fresh lime juice — 1/4 cup (60 ml)
Simple syrup — 2 tablespoons (30 ml), or to taste
Ground cinnamon — 1/2 teaspoon (or 1 cinnamon stick for infusion)
Fresh ginger, grated — 1 teaspoon (optional)
Salt for rimming + cinnamon sugar mix — 2 tablespoons sugar + 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Ice — plenty for shaking and serving
Garnish: lime wheels, cranberries, and a cinnamon stick for each glass
Instructions
- Prepare the rim: Mix sugar and cinnamon on a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip into the cinnamon sugar. Set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, orange liqueur, cranberry juice, lime juice, simple syrup, cinnamon, and ginger. Add a handful of ice and seal the shaker.
- Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels frosty and the mixture looks well-chilled.
- Strain into the prepared glasses filled with fresh ice. If you prefer, shake with crushed ice for a slushy, festive texture.
- Garnish with a lime wheel, a few cranberries, and a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately and enjoy the aroma as you sip.
