- 12 Fresh Jalapenos
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Puff Pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup Bacon Bits
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Egg, for wash
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lay out your puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and roll them out gently.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, garlic powder, and onion powder until well blended.
- Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds as desired. Chop them finely.
- Fold the chopped jalapenos into the cheese mixture until evenly distributed.
- Cut your pastry into strips approximately 1 inch wide. Place about a tablespoon of the jalapeno mixture at one end of each strip.
- Gently twist the pastry around the filling and seal the ends by pinching them together.
- Place the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each twist with an egg wash.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool briefly before serving with a dipping sauce.

Serve with creamy ranch or guacamole for an enhanced snacking experience.
