- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 cup chopped jalapeños
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, spices, chopped jalapeños, and half of the cilantro. Mix gently.
- Add breadcrumbs and egg to the mixture, stirring to combine.
- Form the mixture into balls, about the size of a golf ball.
- Place the balls on a lined baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, until golden brown.
- Garnish with remaining cilantro and serve with dipping sauce.
Notes
Avoid overmixing to keep the balls tender. Use parchment paper on the baking sheet to prevent sticking.
