Ingredients
- Puff Pastry (thawed)
- Cream Cheese (softened)
- Fresh Strawberries (sliced)
- Granulated Sugar
- Powdered Sugar (for dusting)
- Vanilla Extract
- Egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into rectangles (4×6 inches).
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Slice strawberries and mix with a tablespoon of sugar.
- On each pastry rectangle, spread a spoonful of cream cheese mixture and top with sugared strawberries.
- Fold the edges over the filling and pinch to secure.
- Brush the tops with a beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
