Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry (thawed)
  • Cream Cheese (softened)
  • Fresh Strawberries (sliced)
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Powdered Sugar (for dusting)
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into rectangles (4×6 inches).
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Slice strawberries and mix with a tablespoon of sugar.
  5. On each pastry rectangle, spread a spoonful of cream cheese mixture and top with sugared strawberries.
  6. Fold the edges over the filling and pinch to secure.
  7. Brush the tops with a beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
