Description

These Sweet Air Fryer Churro Bites are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated in a perfect blend of cinnamon and sugar. Ready in under 15 minutes, they’re a quick and delicious treat for parties, movie nights, or whenever the sweet craving hits—without the mess of deep frying.


Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour – Gives the churros their structure.

1 cup water – Helps bind the dough.

2 tbsp unsalted butter – Adds rich flavor and moisture.

1 tbsp granulated sugar – Light sweetness for the dough.

½ tsp salt – Balances sweetness.

1 tsp vanilla extract – For warm, aromatic flavor.

2 large eggs – Creates a soft, airy texture.

½ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon – For coating.

Non-stick cooking spray – Keeps churros from sticking in the air fryer.


Instructions

Prepare Dough: In a medium saucepan, bring water, butter, sugar, and salt to a boil. Add flour and stir until the mixture forms a smooth dough ball.

Cool & Mix: Remove from heat and let dough cool for 5 minutes. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.

Pipe Churros: Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe 2–3 inch strips onto a parchment-lined tray.

Air Fry: Spray churros lightly with cooking spray. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes, or until golden brown.

Coat: Immediately toss warm churros in cinnamon sugar until fully coated.

Serve: Enjoy warm with chocolate or caramel dipping sauce.

Notes

  • If the dough feels too thick, add 1–2 tsp of water to help pipe easily.

  • Best eaten fresh, but can be reheated in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes.

  • For extra indulgence, drizzle with melted chocolate before serving.
