  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries by hulling and slicing them, allowing them to sit for 5-10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine strawberries with sugar and lemon juice, then mix in cornstarch and let it sit for another 10-15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake the pie crust for 10-15 minutes.
  4. After cooling the crust slightly, fill it with the strawberry mixture.
  5. Lower the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the pie for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Let the pie cool for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes
