Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate (at least 70% cacao)
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour (or almond flour)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Workspace: Gather all ingredients and equipment—food processor, mixing bowl, and lined baking pan.
  2. Make the Base: Blend dates in a food processor until sticky. Add peanut butter, protein powder, oats, coconut flour, and salt. Process until combined.
  3. Form the Layer: Press the mixture into the lined baking pan to about 1-inch thickness.
  4. Melt the Chocolate: Gently heat the dark chocolate until melted.
  5. Coat the Base: Pour the melted chocolate over the pressed mixture, spreading evenly.
  6. Chill and Set: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until chocolate is firm.
  7. Cut and Serve: Lift the bars out and cut into desired sizes.
